...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 445 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Texas, including the following 
  county, Harris.

* WHEN...Until 445 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 
  Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is 
  imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 248 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of
    rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are possible over
    the area. This additional rain could result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Greater Fifth Ward, Near Northside Houston, Second Ward,
    Downtown Houston, Greater Eastwood, Fourth Ward, Midtown
    Houston, Greater Third Ward, southeastern Greater Heights,
    Neartown / Montrose, southeastern Northside / Northline,
    eastern Memorial Park, Afton Oaks / River Oaks Area, Kashmere
    Gardens, Denver Harbor / Port Houston, Houston Gardens,
    Pleasantville Area, Settegast, Eastex / Jensen Area and
    Magnolia Park.

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
