...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 345 PM MST THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is 
  expected.

* WHERE...Portions of South Central and Southeast Arizona, including 
  the following counties, in South Central Arizona, eastern Pima. In 
  Southeast Arizona, northwestern Cochise.

* WHEN...Until 345 PM MST.

* IMPACTS...Rises in small streams and normally dry washes. Some 
  low-water crossings may become impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 150 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding. Between
    0.7 and 1.2 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Mainly rural areas of Northwestern Cochise and Eastern Pima
    Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are 
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded 
roads. Find an alternate route.

The Flood Advisory will expire at 345 PM MST this afternoon for 
portions of South Central and Southeast Arizona, including the 
following areas, in South Central Arizona, Pima. In Southeast 
Arizona, Cochise.

The heavy rain has ended. Small stream flooding is no longer 
expected to pose a threat. Please continue to heed remaining road 
closures.
