...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 415 PM MST THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive 
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of Southeast Arizona, including the following 
  county, northeastern Cochise.

* WHEN...Until 415 PM MST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 
  Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. Some low-water crossings 
  may become impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 116 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
    flooding. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen.
  - This includes the following streams and drainages...
    Indian Creek, South Fork Keating Creek, Keating Creek,
    Stanford Creek, East Turkey Creek, East Whitetail Creek, Big
    Sand Wash, Ash Creek, Cave Creek, Silver Creek, Wood Canyon,
    Witch Creek, West Whitetail Creek, Fivemile Creek, San Simon
    River, Pridham Creek, Pinery Creek, O B Draw, Turkey Creek
    and Onion Creek.
    Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.5 inches are
    expected over the area. This additional rain will result in
    minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Chiricahua National Monument, Sunizona and Paradise.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

Flooding is occurring or is imminent. It is important to know where 
you are relative to streams, rivers, or creeks which can become 
killers in heavy rains. Campers and hikers should avoid streams or 
creeks.
