...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 245 PM MST THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is 
  expected.

* WHERE...East central Cochise, including areas surrounding the 
  Chiricahua Mountains.

* WHEN...Until 245 PM MST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 
  Rises in small streams and normally dry washes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1141 AM MST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
    indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause
    small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has
    fallen.
  - This includes the following streams and drainages...
    Pridham Creek, Cave Creek, East Turkey Creek, Whitewater
    Draw, Rucker Canyon, Stanford Creek, Pinery Creek, Leslie
    Creek, Turkey Creek, Onion Creek, Silver Creek, Witch Creek,
    Ash Creek, Big Bend Creek and East Whitetail Creek.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Portal, Rucker Canyon and Paradise.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
