...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 645 PM MST THIS EVENING...
* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of eastern Pima county, mainly over Tanque Verde
Creek.
* WHEN...Until 645 PM MST.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Dangerous flows over low-water crossings.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 337 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
flooding. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Tanque Verde Wash, Pantano Wash and Rincon Creek.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Tucson, Tanque Verde and Saguaro National Park East.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
