...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT CDT TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southwest Missouri, including the following 
  counties, Christian and Webster.

* WHEN...Until midnight CDT tonight.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 851 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Up to 2 inches of rain have
    fallen.
  - This includes the following low water crossings...
    Stewart Creek at Ottawa Road, Panther Creek at North Iron
    Mountain Road, Finley River at Johns Ford Road, Pedelo Creek
    at Highway U, Finley River at Highway Z and Parchcorn Creek
    at Smyrna Road.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Southern Springfield, Nixa, Ozark, Rogersville, Sparta,
    Fordland, Fremont Hills, Oldfield, Bruner, Linden, Elkhead
    and Keltner.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
