* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 613 PM PST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
San Mateo, Redwood City, Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Foster City, San
Carlos, East Palo Alto, Belmont, Half Moon Bay, Hillsborough, Los
Altos Hills, Atherton, Woodside, Stanford, North Fair Oaks,
Highlands-Baywood Park, Portola Valley, Emerald Lake Hills, West
Menlo Park and Highlands.

The Flood Advisory will expire at 815 PM PST this evening for a
portion of northern California, including the following areas, San
Mateo, Santa Clara and Santa Cruz.
The heavy rain has ended. Urban area and small stream flooding is no
longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to heed remaining
road closures.
A Flood Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM PST Friday for portions
