* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Benton County in Tennessee...
Carroll County in Tennessee...
Northern Decatur County in Tennessee...
Henderson County in Tennessee...
Henry County in Tennessee...
Eastern Weakley County in Tennessee...
* WHEN...Until 215 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1222 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding.
Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the
area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Paris, Lexington, McKenzie, Huntingdon, Natchez Trace State Park,
Natchez Trace State Forest, Paris Landing State Park, Parsons,
Bruceton, Gleason, Decaturville, Cottage Grove, Vale, Routon,
Wildersville, Springville, Parkers Crossroads, Bargerton and
Darden.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD ADVISORY WILL EXPIRE AT 415 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...
The Flood Advisory will expire at 415 PM CDT this afternoon for a
portion of West Tennessee, including the following areas, Benton,
Carroll, Decatur, Henderson, Henry and Weakley.
While additional showers continue, flood waters will continue to
receded. Urban area and small stream flooding is no longer expected
to pose a threat. Please continue to heed remaining road closures.
