...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM PST THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southwest California, including the following 
  counties, a large portion of San Luis Obispo and a large portion 
  of Santa Barbara.

This includes the Lake Burn Scar, the Gifford Burn Scar, and the 
Madre Burn Scar.

* WHEN...Until 600 PM PST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 
  Rock slides and mud slides, along with minor debris flows.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1022 AM PST, Doppler radar indicated moderate to locally
    heavy rain re-developing and spreading across the Advisory
    area. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly
    in the advisory area. Rock slides and mud slides, along with
    minor debris flows will be possible.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Santa Maria, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Lompoc, Morro
    Bay, Pismo Beach, Santa Ynez, Point Conception, Montecito,
    Atascadero, Arroyo Grande, Nipomo, Carpinteria, Solvang,
    Vandenberg Space Force Base, Los Alamos, Orcutt, Highway 101
    through Gaviota State Park, Refugio State Beach and El
    Capitan State Beach.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of southwest California, including the following 
  counties, far southern San Luis Obispo and a large portion of 
  Santa Barbara.

* WHEN...Until 200 AM PST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 
  Rock slides and mud slides, along with minor debris flows.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 520 PM PST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
    indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is
    ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.
    There is also a Flash Flood Warnings inside the flood
    advisory centered over central to southern Santa Barbara
    County that will see enhanced, significant flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Santa Maria, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Lompoc, Morro
    Bay, Pismo Beach, Santa Ynez, Point Conception, Montecito,

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
