...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 430 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Georgia, including the 
  following counties, Berrien, Irwin and Tift.

* WHEN...Until 430 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 229 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Up to 2 inches of rain has already fallen in
    the area and an additional 2 to 3 inches is possible over the
    next two hours. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to
    begin shortly in the advisory area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Tifton, Enigma, Alapaha, Brookfield, Vanceville, Harding and
    Gladys.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
