...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Southeastern Leon County in the Florida Big Bend. 

* WHEN...Until 500 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 300 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms with 1 to 2 inches of rain falling over the
    last hour. An additional 2 to 3 inches of rain is expected
    over the next couple of hours. Minor flooding is ongoing or
    expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Tallahassee, Woodville, Florida A and M, Southwood, Indian
    Head Acres, Governors Square Mall, Gaither Community Center,
    Walker Ford Community Center, Cascades Park, Springsax Park,
    Bragg Stadium, Lake Munson, and Callen Neighborhood.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
