...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...The following counties, in central Ohio, Fayette, Hocking 
  and Pickaway. In south central Ohio, Highland and Ross. In 
  southwest Ohio, Clinton and Warren.

* WHEN...Until 730 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 423 PM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
    have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are
    possible.
  - Some locations that may experience flooding include...
    Chillicothe, Washington Court House, Wilmington, Greenfield,
    Sabina, Leesburg, New Vienna, Kingston, New Holland, North
    Folk Village, Staunton, Good Hope, Frankfort, Clarksville,
    Harveysburg, Laurelville, Clarksburg, Adelphi, Highland and
    South Salem.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

your report via social media, when you can do so safely.

...FLOOD ADVISORY WILL EXPIRE AT 730 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

The Flood Advisory will expire at 730 PM EDT this evening for the 
following counties, in central Ohio, Fayette, Hocking and Pickaway. 
In south central Ohio, Highland and Ross. In southwest Ohio, Clinton 
and Warren.

Flood waters have receded. The heavy rain has ended. Flooding is no 
longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to heed remaining 
road closures.
