...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CDT THIS EVENING...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Jackson County in the Florida Panhandle.
* WHEN...Until 600 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 358 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. 2 to 3 inches of rain has already fallen in
the area and an additional 2 to 3 inches of rain is possible
over the next two hours. Minor flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Marianna, Cottondale, Greenwood, Campbellton, Sills, Marianna
Municipal A/P, Chipola Terrace, Jacobs, Jacob City, Blue
Spring and Two Egg.
