...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 615 PM CDT THIS EVENING...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...For Geneva County, in Southeast Alabama.
* WHEN...Until 615 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 412 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Around 2 inches of rain has fallen in the area
and an additional 2 to 3 inches of rain is expected over the
next two hours. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to
begin shortly in the advisory area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Geneva, Hartford, Coffee Springs, Geneva Municipal A/P,
Highfalls, Eunola, Chancellor, Somerset, Lytle, Kellys
Crossroads, Vaughanville, Thurston, Marl, High Bluff, Spears,
Hendrix Crossroad and Sellersville.

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
