...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 645 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...For Eastern Geneva and Western Houston Counties in 
  Southeast Alabama, including the City of Dothan.

* WHEN...Until 645 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 449 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. POrtions of the advisory area have already
    received 2 to 3 inches of rain. An additional 2 to 3 inches
    of rain is expected over the next two hours. Minor flooding
    is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Cottonwood, Dothan, Hartford, Taylor, Midland City, Ashford,
    Slocomb, Cowarts, Webb, Kinsey, Malvern, Rehobeth, Avon,
    Madrid, Black, Memphis, Light, Merritts Crossroads, Olympia
    Spa Resort and Jones Crossroads.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
