...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 630 PM CDT THIS EVENING...
* WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following
counties, Crockett and Irion.
* WHEN...Until 630 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 451 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
scattered stationary thunderstorms from near Sheffield to
Barnhart. This will cause arroyo and small stream flooding.
Up to 0.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Barnhart, The Intersection Of I-10 And Highway 290, Ft
Lancaster and I-10 Near The Crockett-Pecos County Line.
- This includes Interstate 10 between Mile Markers 328 and 344.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
