* Flash Flood Warning for...
Western Elbert County in east central Colorado...
East Central Douglas County in northeastern Colorado...
* Until 645 PM MDT.
* At 452 PM MDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between
0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate
is 0.5 to 1.5 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts up to
1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing
or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, gulches,
roads, and poor drainage and low-lying areas.

Castle Rock, Elizabeth, Franktown, The Pinery, Ponderosa Park and
Castlewood Canyon.
