  South Central Shasta County in northern California...

* Until 1045 PM PST Sunday.

* At 443 PM PST, local law enforcement reported heavy rain in 
  Downtown Redding and adjacent urban areas. Between 2 and 6 inches 
  of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is already occurring.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

  SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Redding, Palo Cedro, Shasta Dam, Shasta Lake, Anderson, Central 
  Valley, Central Valley Cdp, Keswick, Mountain Gate, Olinda, 
  Centerville, Millville, Igo and Cottonwood.

with multiple vehicles stuck in water and swift water rescues. 
Between 2 and 6 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is 
already occurring.
