South Central Estill County in east central Kentucky...
West Central Breathitt County in southeastern Kentucky...
Central Lee County in southeastern Kentucky...
* Until 1115 PM EDT.
* At 817 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible
in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

White Ash, Primrose, Belle Point, Monica, Tallega, Vada, Canyon

EVENING FOR SOUTH CENTRAL ESTILL, WEST CENTRAL BREATHITT AND CENTRAL
LEE COUNTIES...
At 957 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have
fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.3 inches are possible in
the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.
