Northwestern Burlington County in southern New Jersey...
Southeastern Bucks County in southeastern Pennsylvania...
Southeastern Montgomery County in southeastern Pennsylvania...
Northeastern Philadelphia County in southeastern Pennsylvania...
* Until 1030 PM EDT.
* At 626 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain
has fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 1.5 inches in 1
hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in
the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
drainage and low lying areas.

Philadelphia, Bensalem, Florence, Burlington, Bristol, Beverly,
Rockledge, Tullytown, Abington, Bryn Athyn, Andalusia and
Feasterville-Trevose.

Interstate 295 in New Jersey between mile markers 48 and 56.
New Jersey Turnpike between exits 6 and 6A.
Interstate 95 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 31 and 40.
Pennsylvania Turnpike between mile markers 348 and 359.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around...dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most
flood deaths occur in vehicles.

EVENING FOR NORTHWESTERN BURLINGTON, SOUTHEASTERN BUCKS,
SOUTHEASTERN MONTGOMERY AND NORTHEASTERN PHILADELPHIA COUNTIES...
At 906 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1
and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up
to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is
ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

Flood waters have receded. The heavy rain has ended. Flooding is no
longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to heed remaining
road closures.
A Flood Watch remains in effect until 600 AM EDT Tuesday for
portions of northern Delaware, New Jersey, and southeast
Pennsylvania.
