The National Weather Service in Tallahassee has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Ben Hill County in south central Georgia...
  Northeastern Irwin County in south central Georgia...

* Until 245 PM EDT.

* At 1146 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported several road 
  closures across the county due to thunderstorms producing heavy 
  rain across the warned area. Moderate to heavy rainfall is 
  expected to continue. Between 2.5 and 4 inches of rain have 
  fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible 
  in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin 
  shortly.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Fitzgerald, Lulaville, Ashton, Queensland, Bowens Mill, 
  Osierfield, Abba, Wray and Red Bluff.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
