The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southern Camden County in southern New Jersey...
  Central Gloucester County in southern New Jersey...

* Until 1000 PM EDT.

* At 706 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of 
  rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches in 1 
  hour. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
           drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include...
  Glassboro, Lindenwold, Pitman, Clayton, Berlin, Chesilhurst, 
  Turnersville, Williamstown, Sicklerville, Monroe Township, Atco 
  and Mullica Hill.

This includes Atlantic City Expressway between mile markers 34 and 
44.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most 
flood deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

EVENING FOR SOUTHERN CAMDEN AND CENTRAL GLOUCESTER COUNTIES...

At 913 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated 
thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 
1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts 
up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is 
ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
