The National Weather Service in Amarillo has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southeastern Beaver County in the panhandle of Oklahoma...
  Northeastern Lipscomb County in the panhandle of Texas...

* Until 1100 AM CDT.

* At 743 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain 
  have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are 
  possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected 
  to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Follett.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLASH FLOOD WARNING IS CANCELLED FOR SOUTHEASTERN BEAVER AND 
NORTHEASTERN LIPSCOMB COUNTIES...

While torrential rainfall has ended, moderate to heavy rainfall is 
still occurring in this area. Given this a new warning has been put 
in place to better cover the new rainfall.
