* Flash Flood Warning for...
Central Musselshell County in central Montana...
* Until 1030 PM MDT.
* At 735 PM MDT, the public reported thunderstorms producing heavy
rain in and near Roundup. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have
fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in
the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Public reported.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

Roundup.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles. Do not drive on or attempt to cross
flooded roads, find an alternate route. Roads and driveways may be
damaged or washed out in places.
Move to higher ground now. Act quickly to protect your life.
In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.
Please report observed flooding to local emergency officials and
request they pass the information to the National Weather Service in
Billings.

EVENING FOR CENTRAL MUSSELSHELL COUNTY...
At 817 PM MDT, the public reported thunderstorms producing heavy
rain and flash flooding in and near Roundup. Between 1.5 and 3
inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to half
an inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already
occurring.
