The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southern Brown County in south central Indiana...
  Northwestern Jackson County in south central Indiana...
  Southeastern Monroe County in south central Indiana...

* Until midnight EDT tonight.

* At 828 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 3 inches of 
  rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 2.5 inches 
  are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already 
  occurring.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Bloomington, Nashville, Elkinsville, Story, Charles Deam 
  Wilderness, Yellowwood Lake, Woodville Hills, Stone Head, 
  Spurgeons Corner, Gnaw Bone, Monroe Reservoir and Fairfax State 
  Recreation Area.

  South Fork Creek, Lick Creek, Stephens Creek, Strahl Creek, Middle 
  Fork Salt Creek, Negro Creek, Pruitt Branch, Little Salt Creek,

  South Fork Salt Creek, Salt Creek, Kiper Creek, Clay Lick Creek, 
  Jackson Creek, Green Valley Creek, Kerr Creek, North Fork Salt 
  Creek, Hamilton Creek, Callahan Branch, Brannaman Branch, Gravel

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.
