Western Pueblo County in southeastern Colorado...This includes the Oak Ridge Burn Scar * Until 615 PM MDT. * At 451 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the Oak Ridge Burn scar area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 0.25 to 0.5 inches in 5 hours. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Excessive rainfall over the warning area will cause mud slides near steep terrain.
