* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Spencer County in southwestern Indiana...
  Vanderburgh County in southwestern Indiana...
  Warrick County in southwestern Indiana...
  Daviess County in northwestern Kentucky...
  Henderson County in northwestern Kentucky...

* Until 400 AM CDT Thursday.

* At 950 PM CDT, The public reported flooding on Evansvilles 
  southeast side with cars stranded. An area of slow-moving 
  thunderstorms is producing heavy rain across the warned area. The 
  expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches in 1 hour. Flash flooding 
  is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Public reported.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Evansville, Owensboro, Henderson, Boonville, Newburgh, Chandler, 
  Rockport, Melody Hill, Dale, Darmstadt, Lynnville, Grandview, 
  Corydon, Whitesville, Robards, Eureka, Stanley, St. Joseph, 
  Folsomville and Masonville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.
