  Western Mercer County in central Kentucky...
  Nelson County in central Kentucky...
  Southern Shelby County in central Kentucky...
  Spencer County in central Kentucky...
  Washington County in central Kentucky...

* Until 630 PM EDT.

* At 331 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain 
  have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are 
  possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected 
  to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Bardstown, Shepherdsville, Lawrenceburg, Lebanon, Springfield, 
  Taylorsville, Mount Washington, Ballard, Hillview and Lebanon 
  Junction.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

A new Flash Flood warning has been issued to replace the previous 
one, flooding continues over the warned area.

A Flood Watch remains in effect until 800 AM EDT Sunday for portions 
of Indiana and Kentucky.
