* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northeastern Kern County in central California...

* Until 145 PM PST.

* At 840 AM PST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain across the 
  warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin 
  shortly.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing
           flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Ridgecrest, China Lake Acres, Inyokern, Laurel Mountain and Indian 
  Wells Canyon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
