The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southern Delaware County in east central Indiana...
  Northwestern Randolph County in east central Indiana...

* Until 1230 AM EDT.

* At 924 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported thunderstorms 
  producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.25 and 3 
  inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 1.5 
  inches in 15 minutes. Additional rainfall amounts up to 2.25 
  inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already 
  occurring.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Muncie, Winchester, Yorktown, Parker City, Farmland, Selma, 
  Prairie Creek Reservoir and Ball State University.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.
