* Flash Flood Warning for...
Southeastern Emery County in central Utah...
Northeastern Wayne County in southern Utah...
* Until 1215 PM MDT.
* At 915 AM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.4 and 0.7 inches of
rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.5
inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing
or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
producing flash flooding.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
mainly rural areas of Southeastern Emery and Northeastern Wayne
Counties including Water Canyon, High Spur, Low Spur and Big
Spring Slot Canyons to the Green River.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Flooding is occurring or is imminent. It is important to know where
you are relative to streams, rivers, or creeks which can become

At 1047 AM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.6 and 1.20 inches of
rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

The heavy rain has largely ended, though a newly developed storm is
bringing some additional light to moderate rainfall. Flooding is no
longer expected to pose an immediate widespread threat. Please
continue to heed remaining road closures.
