Southwestern Mesa County in west central Colorado...
* Until 200 PM MDT.
* At 1211 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of
rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

mainly rural areas of Southwestern Mesa County

* At 110 PM MDT, local law enforcement reported thunderstorms
producing heavy rain in Water rescues ongoing near Gateway.
Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is
already occurring.
This is a FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY for Gateway. This is a
PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEEK HIGHER GROUND NOW!
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
producing flash flooding.

SOUTHWESTERN MESA COUNTY...
Minor runoff from heavy rain may continue over the next few hours
but the threat of heavy rainfall has ended over the warned area. If
flooding has been observed...Please report it to your local law
enforcement agency. Flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat.
Please continue to heed remaining road closures.
A Flood Watch remains in effect until 1200 AM MDT Sunday for
portions of Colorado and Utah.
