  Southeastern Jefferson Davis County in south central Mississippi...
  Southern Covington County in southeastern Mississippi...
  Jones County in southeastern Mississippi...

* Until 415 AM CDT.

* At 1210 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 4 and 7 inches of rain 
  have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are 
  possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected 
  to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Laurel, Ellisville, Seminary, Moselle, Bassfield, Eastabuchie, 
  Ovett, Sanford, Tuckers Crossing and Melba.

heavy rain in Seminary. Between 5 and 8 inches of rain have fallen. 
Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are possible in the 
warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

MORNING FOR SOUTHEASTERN JEFFERSON DAVIS, SOUTHERN COVINGTON AND 
JONES COUNTIES...

At 159 AM CDT, local law enforcement reported flash flooding in 
Seminary, with area homes and businesses taking on water, water 
rescues occurring and vehicles becoming stranded and left in flood 
waters. Between 6 and 10 inches of rain have fallen. Additional 
rainfall amounts of 3 to 5 inches are possible in the warned area. 
Flash flooding is already occurring.

This is a FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY for Seminary. This is a PARTICULARLY 
DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEEK HIGHER GROUND NOW!

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing
         flash flooding.

IMPACT...This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEEK HIGHER

DAVIS, SOUTHERN COVINGTON AND SOUTHWESTERN JONES COUNTIES...

The heavy rain has ended. Additional flash flooding is no longer 
expected to pose a threat. However, please continue to heed 
remaining road closures and do not drive into flooded roadways, 
especially at night.

A Flood Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT Friday for portions 
of northeast Louisiana and Mississippi.
