  Southeastern Chenango County in central New York...
  Northwestern Delaware County in central New York...
  Otsego County in central New York...

* Until 345 AM EDT.

* At 1239 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain in in Bainbridge. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have
  fallen. Flash flooding is already occurring.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
           drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Oneonta, Cooperstown, Sidney, Guilford, Middlefield, Hartwick,
  Pittsfield, Springfield, Bainbridge, Richfield Springs, Unadilla,
  Otego, Morris, Cherry Valley, Milford, Gilbertsville, Franklin,
  Laurens, West End and Emmons.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
