The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Eastern McCulloch County in west central Texas...
  San Saba County in west central Texas...

* Until 1245 PM CDT.

* At 938 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain 
  have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are 
  possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected 
  to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  San Saba, Richland Springs, Algerita, Cherokee, Sloan, 
  Skeeterville, Rochelle, Placid, Elm Grove, Voca, Hall, Us-190 Near 
  The Mcculloch-San Saba County Line, Harkeyville, Locker and Spring 
  Creek.

FM 1028 crossing Corn Creek, FM 1121 crossing Onion Creek, FM 1030 
crossing Wallace Creek, FM 1851 crossing Tiger Creek, County Road 
414 crossing Little Onion Creek, CR 208 crossing San Saba River,

crossing Little Brady Creek, County Road 424 crossing Little Brady 
Creek and crossings along County Road 410.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

deaths occur in vehicles.
