  Northeastern Wayne County in northeastern Pennsylvania...

* Until 600 PM EDT.

* At 307 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. The expected rainfall rate is 1
  to 2 inches in 1 hour. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to
  begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
           drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Callicoon, Hancock, Peabrook, Stalker, Hankins, East Branch, Fishs
  Eddy, Equinunk, Harvard and Hortonville.

...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM EDT THIS EVENING
FOR SOUTHWESTERN DELAWARE, NORTHWESTERN SULLIVAN AND NORTHEASTERN
WAYNE COUNTIES...

At 356 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported thunderstorms producing
heavy rain in northern Sullivan County around Hankins. The expected
rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches in an hour. Additional rainfall
amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash
flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
         flash flooding.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban
         areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Callicoon, Hancock, Peabrook, Stalker, Hankins, East Branch, Fishs
  Eddy, Equinunk, Harvard and Hortonville.

Road washouts are being reported in the area. Heavy rainfall is
expected to continue for at least the next hour.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Flooding is occurring or is imminent. It is important to know where
you are relative to streams, rivers, or creeks which can become
killers in heavy rains. Campers and hikers should avoid streams or
creeks.
