The National Weather Service in Louisville has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Eastern Boyle County in central Kentucky...
  Central Garrard County in central Kentucky...
  Southern Jessamine County in central Kentucky...
  Madison County in central Kentucky...

* Until 900 AM EDT.

* At 545 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of 
  rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches 
  are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or 
  expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Richmond, Lancaster, Mccreary, Berea, Round Hill, Kirksville, Crow 
  Valley, Silver Creek, Ruthton and Duncanon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you 
can do so safely and have them relay your report to the National 
Weather Service in Louisville.
