Northeastern Livingston County in central Illinois...
North Central Ford County in east central Illinois...
Southwestern Kankakee County in northeastern Illinois...
* Until 515 AM CDT.
* At 118 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated slow moving thunderstorms
with rainfall rates of 1 to 3 inches per hour moving through the
area. Up to 1.5 inches of rain have fallen so far west of Herscher.
Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Rapid-onset flooding of creeks, streams, drainage ditches,
streets, underpasses, low-lying areas, and other poor
drainage areas.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Odell, Cullom, Saunemin, Buckingham, Cabery, Kempton, Reddick,
Emington and Stelle.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
