The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northern Franklin County in southeastern Indiana...

* Until 800 PM EDT.

* At 608 PM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain
  across the warned area. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5
  inches are possible. This will fall over an area that received
  heavy rainfall earlier this afternoon. Flash flooding is ongoing or
  expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
           drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include...
  Brookville, Blooming Grove, Metamora, Mount Carmel, Mounds State
  Recreation Area, Peppertown and Mixersville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
