* Flash Flood Warning for...
South Central Mercer County in central New Jersey...
Northeastern Burlington County in southern New Jersey...
Southeastern Bucks County in southeastern Pennsylvania...
* Until 530 PM EDT.
* At 123 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain moving into the
warned area. Up to 0.5 inches of rain have fallen. The expected
rainfall rate is 0.5 to 1 inch in 30 minutes. Additional rainfall
amounts up to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
drainage and low lying areas.
* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include...
Trenton, Ewing, Florence, Burlington, Bristol, Bordentown,
Yardley, Tullytown, Langhorne, Pemberton, Wrightstown and Columbus.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 295 in New Jersey between mile markers 48 and 66.
New Jersey Turnpike between exits 6 and 7A.
Interstate 195 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 5.
Pennsylvania Turnpike between mile markers 356 and 359.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around...dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most
flood deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 530 PM EDT THIS
AFTERNOON FOR SOUTH CENTRAL MERCER, NORTHEASTERN BURLINGTON AND
SOUTHEASTERN BUCKS COUNTIES...
At 345 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches have fallen with the heavy
rainfall that moved through the area this afternoon. There have also
been multiple reports of road flooding. The heaviest rain has
tapered off at this time but it will still take some time for the
waters to fully recede so the Flash Flood Warning remains in effect.
There may also be some additional showers moving through the area
through early this evening.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.
