Northeastern Northampton County in eastern Pennsylvania...
Central Monroe County in northeastern Pennsylvania...
* Until 630 PM EDT.
* At 337 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between
0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate
is 1 to 2 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1.5 to
2.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is
ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.
IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
drainage and low lying areas.
* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include...
East Stroudsburg, Bangor, Pen Argyl, Wind Gap, East Bangor,
Delaware Water Gap, Stormville, Analomink, Saylorsburg, Henryville

thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between
1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate
is 0.5 to 1 inch in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1
inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or

At 557 PM EDT, emergency management reported thunderstorms producing
heavy rain with numerous instances of flash flooding near and along
the Interstate 80 corridor. Between 2.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have
fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in
the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
