Northeastern Mercer County in central New Jersey...
Middlesex County in northern New Jersey...
Southeastern Morris County in northern New Jersey...
Central Somerset County in northern New Jersey...
* Until 845 PM EDT.
* At 542 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between
0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1
to 2 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2
inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing
or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
drainage and low lying areas.

Brunswick, South Brunswick, North Brunswick, Madison, Middlesex,
Princeton and Florham Park.

Interstate 287 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 16...and
between mile markers 27 and 47.
Interstate 78 in New Jersey between mile markers 34 and 42.
Interstate 80 in New Jersey between mile markers 40 and 48.
Garden State Parkway between mile markers 130 and 134.

EVENING FOR NORTHEASTERN MERCER, MIDDLESEX, SOUTHEASTERN MORRIS AND
CENTRAL SOMERSET COUNTIES...
At 625 PM EDT, the public reported thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area with roads flooded in New Brunswick.
Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall
amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash
flooding is already occurring.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
