For the Cimarron River...including Forgan 8NNE...elevated river
levels are forecast.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If you encounter a flooded roadway, turn around and find an
alternative route.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Cimarron River near Forgan 8NNE.
* WHEN...From this morning until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 5.0 feet, Expect minor overflows of low lying banks
along the Cimarron River in southern Meade County on downstream
into Oklahoma.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 2.9 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 5.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to 4.4 feet early
Monday afternoon. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
- Action stage is 4.0 feet.
- Flood stage is 5.0 feet.

- At 8:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 3.2 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 5.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise to 3.7 feet tomorrow evening.
It will then fall to 3.6 feet early Monday morning. It will
rise to 3.8 feet early Wednesday afternoon. It will then fall
again and remain below flood stage.
