* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Illinois River near Tahlequah.
* WHEN...From this morning to Sunday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 9.0 feet, no flooding occurs but all recreational
floating along the Illinois River ceases at and above 9.5 feet.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 7.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 9.7
feet early Saturday afternoon.
- Action stage is 9.0 feet.
- Flood stage is 11.0 feet.

* WHEN...From this afternoon to early Saturday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, faster flows are expected along the river
but no flooding occurs. Interests near the river and near Mohawk
Park should continue to monitor later forecasts.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 2:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 10.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.0
feet early Saturday morning. This forecast is based on rain
that has recently fallen plus the next 24 hours of forecast
rainfall. Interests along the river should closely monitor
updates to this advisory.
- Action stage is 17.0 feet.
- Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
