The National Weather Service in Omaha/Valley has issued a Fire
Weather Watch for wind and low relative humidity, which is in
effect from Thursday afternoon through Thursday evening.

* AFFECTED AREA...Saline, Jefferson, Gage, Johnson, Nemaha, 
  Pawnee, and Richardson Counties.

* TIMING...From Thursday afternoon through Thursday evening.

* WINDS...Becoming North/Northwest at 15 to 25 mph with gusts up 
  to 40 mph Thursday afternoon.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 26 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. 
  Outdoor burning is not recommended.

A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions

  Richardson Counties.

* TIMING...From noon to 10 PM CDT Thursday.

* WINDS...North 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 24 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
