MORNING...

* WHAT...Northwest winds 25 to 35 knots and waves 1 to 2 feet
  possible in areas where there are breaks in the ice coverage.

* WHERE...The nearshore waters of Lake Erie from Maumee Bay to 
  Conneaut OH, and the open waters of Lake Erie from Maumee Bay 
  to Conneaut OH.

* WHEN...From Friday evening through Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds can cause hazardous waves which could 
  capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strong gale force winds have the potential
  to move existing ice coverage on Friday night, possibly closing
  current shipping channels. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should consider altering plans to avoid possible
hazardous conditions.  Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter
course, and/or secure the vessel for severe wind and waves.
