The National Weather Service in Elko Nevada has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northeastern White Pine County in northeastern Nevada...

* Until 330 PM PDT.

* At 300 PM PDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 15 miles north of
  McGill, moving northeast at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  northeastern White Pine County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will send your report to the National Weather Service
office in Elko Nevada.

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is
one of natures leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder,
you are close enough to be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

FOR NORTH CENTRAL WHITE PINE COUNTY...

At 313 PM PDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles south of
Schellbourne, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to 
         roofs, siding, and trees.

This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of north
central White Pine County.

...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR NORTH CENTRAL WHITE PINE
COUNTY WILL EXPIRE AT 330 PM PDT...

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.  However, gusty
winds are still possible with this thunderstorm.
