The National Weather Service in Elko Nevada has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northeastern Nye County in south central Nevada...
  Southwestern White Pine County in northeastern Nevada...

* Until 345 PM PDT.

* At 308 PM PDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles west of
  Duckwater, moving northeast at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Duckwater.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will send your report to the National Weather Service
office in Elko Nevada.

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is
one of natures leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder,
you are close enough to be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

At 323 PM PDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Duckwater,
moving northeast at 35 mph.

...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR NORTHEASTERN NYE AND
SOUTHWESTERN WHITE PINE COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 345 PM PDT...

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.  However, gusty
winds and heavy rain are still possible with this thunderstorm.
