* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Northern Union County in northeastern Oregon...
Northwestern Wallowa County in northeastern Oregon...
* Until 645 PM PDT.
* At 541 PM PDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles northeast
of Minam, or 25 miles northwest of Enterprise, moving northwest at
10 mph.
HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles.
* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northern Union and northwestern Wallowa Counties.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is
one of natures leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder,
you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
