* At 606 PM PST, a severe thunderstorm was located over Partington
  Ridge, or 9 miles southeast of Big Sur Village, moving north at 25
  mph.

  HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and small hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to
           mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
  Big Sur Village, Partington Ridge, Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park,
  Andrew Molera State Park and Esalen Institute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Wind damage with this storm will occur before any rain or lightning.

Ridge, or 8 miles southeast of Big Sur Village, moving north at 25
mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and small hail.
